This analysis, from a rhetorical standpoint, focuses primarily on criticisms of how specific media shapes and constrains its messages creating bias. Then, strengths are also highlighted.

Criticisms
Social media has been criticized for its capacity of distorting reality through the construction of 'internet personas', whose tendency is to project an illusory perfect life free of struggles, vulnerabilities, and shortcomings.
Criticisms
Text messaging has been criticized for not conveying emotional content, which can lead to miscommunication. Psychologists are concerned that this is detrimental to one’s ability to interpret nonverbal cues in face-to-face communication and for the development of compassion. Dada (n.d.) notes that “it’s hard to tell how someone is feeling unless they state how they are feeling in the text”.

Criticisms
Autotune is an audio processing software that enables the correction of out-of-tune vocal performances. This plugin was developed by Antares Audio Technologies and the term “autotune” is commonly used today to refer to any audio plugin that does pitch correction. Auto-tune has become a standard in contemporary popular music.
Criticisms
Zoom has been criticized as bad for the health and wellbeing of children (Ringelstein, 2020), poor interaction among students (Daugherty, 2020), and diminishing rapport between teachers and students.
