ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Eduardo Rebagliati
Eduardo Rebagliati is a Peruvian-Canadian educational technologist, music producer, and multimedia artist currently based in Vancouver, Canada. He has worked in a wide variety of professional contexts including higher education, music and multimedia production, and advertising.
Eduardo earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA Hons Music) and a Cross-Disciplinary Certificate in Multimedia at York University in Toronto, Canada and later taught music production courses at the Peruvian University of Applied Sciences (UPC) in Lima Peru for 8 years. Simultaneously, he was the creative director and producer at MERGE Studios, producing audio for successful advertising campaigns for international brands such as Pepsi, Visa, HP, Hyundai, Corona, among others.
He currently works at The University of British Columbia (UBC) in the Educational Technology Support (ETS) department as a learning technology specialist, identifying, analyzing, and coordinating educational technology initiatives. His interests include learning experience design, multimedia production, web design, innovative technology-supported instruction, and digital literacy and culture.
